A set of four coasters inspired by the following Orientalist scenery paintings: An Arms Dealer in Cairo (Jean-Léon Gérôme, 1869); The Meeting of Antony and Cleopatra (Lawrence Alma-Tadema, ca. 1884); Arab before a Tapestry (Mariano Fortuny y Marsal, 1873) and; A Market in the East (Alberto Pasini, 1881). These artworks are part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
