An eco-wooden tray inspired by John Frederick Lewis' "A Frank Encampment in the Desert of Mount Sinai" (1842, 1862, oil on panel). John Frederick Lewis was an English Orientalist painter, specialising in Oriental and Mediterranean scenes in detailed watercolour or oils. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
