An eco-wooden tray inspired by Lawrence Alma-Tadema's "The Meeting of Antony and Cleopatra" (ca. 1884, oil on panel). Lawrence Alma-Tadema is a world-famous Dutch painter who became famous for his depictions of the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire and was considered as one of the most popular Victorian painters. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
