A notebook illustrated with gentle foliage, flowers and a princely youth dressed in fine garments. It takes its inspiration from a painting by Ali Quli Jabbadar, an Iranian artist known as one of the first to have introduced European influences in the Safavid miniature painting. His paintings typically focused on the themes revolving around the royal courts.
Original artwork is part of Museum of Islamic Art's “Fashioning an Empire: Textiles from Safavid Iran" Exhibition.
