Christian Dior Print 27.94 x 35.56 cm Chine Coat
Let this classy print featuring Christian Dior’s sketch of the Chine coat whisk you away to the Parisian Haute Couture of the late 1940s. Dior frequently used Chinese references in his creations, such as “Chine,” “Pekin” and “Shanghai” all of which appeared in the 1948 Haute Couture collections, with subsequent designs later also having names like “Nuit de Chine” and “Hongkong” among others. The elegant poster, which beckons to decorate the walls of your home, was designed to accompany the “Christian Dior, Designer of Dreams” exhibition which celebrated the 70th anniversary of the Christian Dior couture house. A similar exhibition will take place in Doha and will be the first fashion retrospective of that ambition and scale in the Middle East.
