In this artwork, the artist uses elements from Sondoq Almbyat* and combines it with motifs from the traditional Sadu. He experiments with different shapes and forms from local heritage to emphasize on the importance of visual culture in the Qatari heritage.
*Sondoq Almbyat or hope chest is a box made of wood that is given to the bride by the groom family prior to marriage ceremony.
