VIRGIL ABLOH - FOS PEN BLACK

This black plastic pen, with “Figures of Speech” and orange graffiti inscribed on it, is a great little souvenir and reference to the exhibition of the same title, by the hugely popular American artist and designer, Virgil Abloh. The founder of the Off-White label as well as the artistic director of Louis Vuitton's menswear, will have his upcoming exhibition take place in Qatar, which will signify the first time the artist will present in the Middle East. Abloh emphasises dialogue in his exhibition by creatively using language and quotation marks, turning objects and people into “Figures of Speech,” as the exhibition is titled. Set in the Garage Gallery at the Fire Station, the mid-career retrospective will showcase Abloh's diverse pioneering media practice that ranges from visual arts to music, fashion, architecture, and design.
