Abeer Al-Kuwari "Getting Ready" A5 Postcard

A postcard displaying a young girl in the process of braiding her hair and is inspired by an original artwork from Abeer Al-Kuwari, a multidisciplinary artist working in photography, drawing and sculpture. In her work she focuses on topics revolving around Qatari heritage and folklore. The original piece called "Getting Ready" is on display at Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art as part of the Majaz: Contemporary Art Qatar exhibition, which highlights some of the most impressive work from the Fire Station: Artist in Residence (AIR) programme and is a testament to the flourishing art scene in Qatar.
