Dugong sweatshirts

The dugong embodies the NMoQ’s ethos of sustainability and environmental awareness, and its cultural significance as part of Qatar’s local heritage. Recently, the largest herds in the world, comprising of between 600 to 700 dugongs, have been recorded here in Qatar.

The design was created by Filipino Qatar resident and graphic designer, Gaylord “Choy” Salonga, who won the NMoQ mascot design competition.
