A replica of the manuscript Sura al-Baqarah (The Cow), end of verse 33 to verse 37, (Umayyad of Al-Andalus period, 3rd century AH / 9th century CE) written in golden kufic letters on an indigo-dyed parchment. This folio, housed at the Museum of Islamic Art, was inspired by one of the most extraordinary Qur’an manuscripts ever created. The original manuscript's original place of production is still debated and is thought to be either from Andalusia or North Africa.
