This H36 Eastern Astrolabe will add a touch of mystery and history to your home of office. These devices were used for a number of tasks back in the day, such as estimating time, measuring heights and drawing horoscopes. This particular item is a replica of the one created in 1647 by Diya´al Din Muhammad, who was the grandson of the founder of a dynasty of Astrolabe makers.
The original piece is today stored at the Adler Planetarium & Astronomy Museum in Chicago.
