Beirut and the Golden Sixties Exhibition - Rafic Charaf Notebook

A notebook inspired by the artwork of Rafic Charaf (Untitled 1975. 89 x 79 cm, oil on canvas) exhibited at the ""Beirut and the Golden Sixties: A Manifesto of Fragility"" at the Mathaf: Arab Museum of Modern Art. The exhibition is the most comprehensive presentation to date about a fabled but turbulent era in the development of modern art and in the history of Beirut and the Arab world, from Lebanon’s 1958 political crisis through the outbreak in 1975 of the Civil War.
