August Macke was a German Expressionist painter, considered to be one of the most important pioneers in the world of art at the beginning of the 20th century. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
