Gustav Bauernfeind was a German painter, illustrator and architect; he is one of the most notable Orientalist painters of Germany. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
