Eugène Delacroix was a French Romantic artist, considered as the leader of the French Romantic school of painting; he was a prolific artist, producing over 9,000 works during his lifetime. This artwork is part of the exhibition "Lusail Museum: Tales of a Connected World" in Qatar Museums Gallery, Al Riwaq. The exhibition puts a spotlight on world-class collection of Orientalist art, archaeological artefacts and media from antiquity to the 21st century.
