This small side plate, is the perfect partner to cake or smaller treats.Its design has taken inspiration from the traditional Bedouin handicraft, al Sadu. This weaving has been a treasured craft in Qatar and a matter of pride especially amongst the local women since ancient times. The woven geometric and figurative patterns and symbols of Sadu reflect the traditional tribal lifestyle and the desert environment.
Exclusively made for Qatar Museums , the Sadu range aims to preserve and promote this intrinsic, beautiful Qatari cultural identity.
